How far will Mario go this year, in 2009?

Mario reached the 3rd round at the Australian Open but was defeated by Gilles Simon, unfortunately, 7-6, 6-4, 6-2. For those of you who might remember, Mario was once the world # 11, but his injuries saw him drop tremendously... Do you think he will regain the form that made him defeat Federer once?
